Long term storage of the entire core is problematic and because of obvious reasons of heat and humidity, the core detoriates over a period of time. Hence valuable information of the core is permanently lost.

Core resination provides an easy and effective way of preserving the core as well as reducing the space required for core storage.

A biscuit cut, typically a 1 inch slice of the core is taken. This is then arranged in plastic trays and fixed using epoxy resin. These trays are then packed and boxed.
