ICS understands the need for proper core transportation from the wellsite to the laboratory. The core box used to transport the core is specially designed to secure the core firmly to the rack and transport cores under frozen conditions. The box is provided with a 8 inch thick insulation to prevent the loss of cooling over long distances.

9 meter of core can be put in one box. The barrel is wrapped in sponge and then secured in 3 places by clamps on a tray. Dry ice is introduced between the spaces and the box sealed and secured. The temperature of the box can be maintained at freezing for upto 14 hours without the need for a replacement of the dry ice.
